Muneeb Mushtaq speaking events

Muneeb Mushtaq is an award-winning Canadian businessman, investor and a public speaker who has launched three successful tech companies to date.

He started his first venture at the age of 20 that got acquired just 2 years later. Then he went on starting the next Startup called AskforTask, which is an on-demand platform for home services, and brought it to profitability within 18 months of launch. Muneeb Mushtaq also received the award of one of the fastest growing start-ups of 2017 by TechCrunch. Currently, AskforTask is the second-largest on-demand platform in Canada.

While building AskforTask, Muneeb Mushtaq also ended up co-founding a third start-up when an idea came to create a smart-home diffuser. This idea was originally bootstrapped by the founders but very quickly, this passion project turned out to be an immensely lucrative opportunity and turned into a full-fledged venture.

Muneeb Mushtaq is now the CEO of a Canadian-based tech venture called AIRZAI.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, this innovative Startup is a CPG based tech-first company that recently launched a patent-pending smart home fragrance diffuser called Airzai Aroma.

It uses premium, swiss-made scents that smell incredibly pleasant and provide an experience of a high-end hotel and also help in uplifting mood and promote mental wellness.

Muneeb Mushtaq along with his team at Airzai has achieved some credible milestones such as raising the largest seed round of funding in Canada, which is $5.5 million. This includes numerous individual investors who are accomplished businessmen, entrepreneurs, and celebrities.

The team itself is highly competitive and well-recognized. One such example is the chief designer of Airzai, Fred Bould who is an award-winning industrial designer.

Fred has won numerous red-dot awards for his design work across his over 20 years of experience.

He is also the genius behind some of the most popular products in the world, such as Nest smart thermostat by Google, GoPro products, ROKU TV and more.

DRAKE, the world-renowned artist is also an investor and part of the advisory board at AIRZAI.

Most recently, Muneeb Mushtaq was faced with one of the biggest challenges of his life, as the world got impacted by the COVID-19 virus pandemic, Airzai was heavily affected by it as well, like countless other companies in the world.

Not only the product manufacturing got affected as factories were shut down impacting the production, but Muneeb Mushtaq also ended up losing an investor overnight who had committed a sizable investment, since the financial instability fear spread across the world.

Faced with a very critical and deadly situation, Muneeb Mushtaq decided to shift the focus of the company to do something meaningful in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Airzai Care

Airzai started focusing on contributing to the shortage of sanitization products in the market. Within a very short span of time, the team worked around the clock to develop and bring a truly unique and innovative product to the market.

In a matter of a few weeks, the AIRZAI team introduced a new line of products called, AIRZAI Care with the flagship product being an all-natural Air and Surface Disinfectant that is perfect for the current crisis.

The demand for this product went through the roof so Airzai decided to open a production facility in South Carolina, USA. As the demand grew for the CARE products, Airzai decided to open another production facility in Houston, Texas.

Not only is Airzai currently catering to the increased demand of these essential disinfectant products, but also pledging to donate a portion of sales to deliver these essential products to the front-line workers in many hospitals across North America and other developing countries.

Most recently, the ground team in Pakistan has donated over 2000 bottles of disinfectant to a local charity called SAHARA foundation to help curb the spread in their facilities.
